Ms. Hogenkamp is an individual on the Autism Spectrum with a degree in Psychology. She has studied neuroscience and stress-related behaviors for over 20 years. Her love of science drives her passion for understanding the complex patterns of abilities and disabilities of those on the Autism Spectrum.
Ms Hogenkamp takes a stress perspective approach to both delineate the gene-environment causes and application of this model to our current treatment and research paradigms. She feels Autism is better explained as a disorder of Stress Adaptation.
